Born in The Yorkshire Dales, Charters studied under Andy Goldsworthy, Graham Crowley at Cardiff College, and Amanda Faulkner at Chelsea. Tackling issues of feminism It occurred to her how very difficult it is to represent women from their own perspective. She paints from her studio in Olympia. WA
